Living in England, Halloween is not one of our big holidays. However my friend in Texas, apart from telling me what all her friends want to dress as, continually tells me from August how much she’s looking forward to Halloween.
A couple of years ago, she dressed as a female pirate and to be honest the costume wasn’t very good – she looked more like a gypsy than a pirate. This year, her son decided they were both going to be pirates for Halloween, and she assures me that this year the pirate costumes she’s chosen are much better and more realistic.
She’s already told me her son had his costume picked out in August, but she is struggling to pick just one outfit from a possible dozen. Once she’s decided then I’ll get a picture…can’t wait to see what she’s chosen.
