My sister used to dress up in a vampire girl outfit every Halloween from when she was 9 years old, all the way up to…well, she still dresses up like a vampiress. Now in our 30′s, whenever Halloween looms near you can find her getting all her black outfits ready for the next two months ahead. I call it her “Gothic Period”.

But now that she had two boys of her own, you’d think she would force them to dress as she does…but she doesn’t. Her boys think its funny how Mom dresses up EVERY HALLOWEEN in Vampire Girl Outfits. That’s really all they know, and it would be weird now for her to switch into anything else.

I love my sister and her eccentric ways around Halloween. Heck, after all isn’t that what Halloween is all about…getting eccentric and making fun memories? I think so. Happy Halloween Everyone!
