The movie Avatar was a great hit! It is no wonder that many people are considering dressing up for Halloween in an Avatar outfit.
There are costumes for both adults and kids which is great. Boys and men can dress up as Jake Sully and girls and women can dress up as Neytiri.
Imagine the vibrant blue of the Navi as you dress up in a Neytiri costume for girls. You could be the envy of your friends in your Neytiri costume. The bright, vivid blue jumpsuit with darker blue markings, the tail behind and the black haired avatar wig would all add to your character as you enjoy trick or treating with your family and friends.
You could defend your people from the sky people and help the Navi to survive. Join forces with Jake Sully and his friends and fight off those who are only seeking their own good. So enjoy Halloween and dress up as Neytiri in this bright blue bodysuit.
My neighbor is wanting to go as a Na’Vi Warrior for Halloween. The Na’Vi are the innocent blue people from the Avatar Movies. What great casting! The Na’Vi are from Pandora and have four fingers and four toes. For the most part they have really dark brown or black hair. Matching the hair is easiest because you can get a long straight black wig and make one long braid down your back or several medium braids if you have the time. My neighbor is lean and tall so she is perfect for this costume. The one area she is having a problem is the blue make up.
I found a great website that has a video and even sells the officially license make up from Avatar. A really creative person can come up with their own blue make up but there is a great video that shows you how to apply the make-up to look like a real Na’Vi Warrior! It is not that easy, if you remember the Na’Vi have stripes on their faces and even on their bodies. They also have some type of beads or glitter stuff on their faces. You have to be able to put on the stripes to look just right in a darker color and then also wear the blue color cream as well. It will likely take 45 minutes just to do your face if you want it to look good.
That is too much work for me. I’m going as Jessie from Toy Story, easy costume that you can buy or make yourself. To be a good Jessie you have to purchase the red hat, which is easy to buy and wear!
This Halloween join us and share Pandora this wonderful and beautiful world and all of it’s wonders. No matter if you go as Neytiri this fearless princess of the Na’Vi people or Jake Sully the new member of the clan you can always be sure that you are a Na’Vi and you are free.

I know that I will go as Jake Sully and my wife will be Neytiri. The whole party is in the Avatar theme and it will be a lots of fun.
