When it comes to scary costumes for halloween, there are the usual suspects; the ghost costume, the zombie costume, the vampire costume. These costumes are classics, no doubt about it.However, they are a bit predictable and are they really that scary! I have trawled through the internet and have found that you can be much more frightening dressed as a clown.
Clowns aren’t usually that scary unless you have Coulrophobia, a fear of clowns. Clowns are usually jolly and friendly and not that scary at all. While clowns are usually not very scary, they can be manipulated to be absolutely horrifying! A scary clown costume is therefore much more likely to scare people during halloween, then say a devil costume.
Fundamental to scary clown costume, is a scary clown mask. These mask, with their colorful faces and demented grins are sure to make a few hairs stand on end. Make sure you wear these costumes with a side of caution, for they are really the stuff of nightmares!
