For the kids today, vampires and werewolves seems like a new romantic phenomenon. The truth is that both werewolves and vampires have been around for ages. As a matter of fact Universal Studios produced Werewolf in London back in 1935! Those were the days of the Great Depression when people flocked to the movies to escape their problems. Sound familiar?

Halloween is coming up and people are beginning to start thinking about what they want to wear. Dressing as a vampire is too obvious, it’s sexy and glamorous. Be a rebel, why not get the kids werewolf costumes? It’s bloody with torn up clothes and an ugly faces showing big evil looking teeth!

What fun to scare the living day lights out of unsuspecting friends and innocent bystanders. I am going to dress my kids in werewolves costumes this year because I am a rebel and have never gone along with the crowd.

Shrek has made Ogre’s cool

Who would have thought a green Ogre would make a great and fun Halloween costume. The movie Shrek has made this costume a premiere Halloween costume. The Men’s Shrek Costume would not normally be my style of costume but pop culture and Hollywood have a way of making something unseen – very popular. Being a mysterious Ogre would be fun on Halloween because who doesn’t like Shrek, but who is the guy wearing the Ogre mask?! Lol.

Now if you just want the mask, you can find some authentic looking masks and wigs and be the big green Ogre with the Shrek Mask or his sidekick, as the Shrek Forever After Donkey. Fiona Wigs are essential to being Fiona for Halloween.

Either way, it is not a coincidence that green goes well with halloween. You could mix it up and make a Shrek Ghost Costume. Be creative with Shrek and Halloween as the possibilities are endless.

First of all, while items sell out of stock from web sites, they do a much better job of keeping devil costume accessories. We can all agree it’s much easier to find a particular costume on a web site than in a cluttered store with overwhelmed sales associates struggling to keep up.

Of course, there are a couple of major disadvantages to not going to one of the physical Halloween costume shops. If you are simply looking, browsing, if you will, for an idea, the shop is the way to go. This is best if you’re not sure what you want to dress up as and want to see ideas.
