The Men’s Shrek Costume would not normally be my style of costume but pop culture and Hollywood have a way of making something unseen – very popular. Being a mysterious Ogre would be fun on Halloween because who doesn’t like Shrek, but who is the guy wearing the Ogre mask?! Lol.

Tony Stark and Scarlett Johansson wore some premium costumes in the movie Iron Man 2. Most of the time when I buy a costume, it doesn’t look so authentic. I think the Iron Man 2 Deluxe Costume is the best movie quality costume I have seen for the price and what I am going to be this Halloween.
For girls I also saw the costume Scarlett Johansson wore – The Black Widow Sexy Adult Costume. These two could be a good couples costume. I am single so maybe I will run into a single Black Widow Costume girl this Halloween. The fun of Halloween never ends. It should come around more than just one time a year.
When I think of scary Halloweens, vampires scare me pretty good. However, the scariest and most popular creature of all time has to be Freddy Krueger. How did he look like that and how did he become so aggressive? If I had to pick a winner in a fight between Dracula and Freddy Krueger, it would be Freddy Krueger without hesitation. The nightmare are as hellish as it gets. When I am out to put on the maximal scare, I dress like Freddy Krueger and create a nightmare on my street.
Jason from Friday the 13th would be right up there with him though, ranking second. The worse part is that both of these guys have girlfriends now that they met online. So yeah, there are costumes for both men and women looking to emulate the scariest Halloween beasts of all time.
Dracula is the ultimate vampire. Can you imagine Dracula without a cape? It truly defines and distinguishes him from all other vampires. How do vampires fly without a cape? Dracula becomes the Super Man of Vampires with his cape. Question comes up? Who came first? Dracula or Superman? History would tell us that Dracula was around before Superman. So did Superman get his idea for flying and a cape from Dracula? I think it is a case of two independent thinkers as everyone was to fly and those capes represent wings in a way.
For Halloween having the right cape is part of the fun. Not just any cape will do if you want to be just like Dracula. Even women and children can look great in a cape when looking like vampires and dressing like dracula. Halloween is 2 months and 6 days away and I can hardly wait for Halloween 2010!

Heaven and Hell, Good and Evil, Halloween is surrounded in spiritual warfare. So much we still don’t understand. I do love to believe in Angels since they always provide a light around all of the darkness. They provide that gleam of hope when everything is dreary. The beauty of angels stands out. My girlfriend will be an angel on Halloween and save me from my vampire ways.

Having the right hat for Halloween can make all the difference in the world. I have been to many Halloween parties and have noticed a big difference in setting up the costume including the hat. You have to find a costume that matches your personality to make your Halloween the best it can be. Some of the best hats I have seen are pirate hats. There are some amazing swashbuckler hats that look amazing on women. I like lady pirates and meet many when I have my Jack Sparrow costume going.
Witch hats can make a big difference as well. If you are trying to be the wicked witch from Oz or any type of witch, it is all in the hat. I remember the scene from the Wizard of Oz when the wicked witch melted and the last thing there was her hat.
This Halloween is going to be better if you have the right hat.
Disco never seems to get old. It was an amazing period that we celebrate 30-40 years later. The dance moves are so much fun and the costumes are laughable and cool all at the same time. Staying Alive, John Travolta, Lionel Richie, The Commodores, and Bee Gees make for a great party atmosphere. Dressing up like its the 70′s is such an escape from the reality of life. The girls costumes are still hot (Shes a Brick House!).
There are so many themes such as gothic vampires, pirates, superheros, and more but it keeps coming back to the 70′s and dressing up like a disco king and dancing all night with your dancing queen. The Brady Bunch is invited as well now that they are all old enough to no longer be kids. I think I am going to get the Saturday Night Fever Costume and make a 70′s party one of my yearly halloween staples.
I am always looking for the most fun way to celebrate Halloween each year. What party or parties are the best? What costume would fit my personality the best? Halloween is a fun time of year and comparable to New Years celebrations. Since Iron Man 2 came out this year, that is the costume that I personally like the most right now. Being a super hero was fun as a kid and you think you are supposed to outgrow it but Tony Stark make it “okay” to still be a super hero as an adult.
Being single is also another variable and a good Halloween costume can be a great conversation starter. Being too mysterious by having your face covered up the whole time is not a good idea though. I noticed that it works best to have a costume where your face is showing most of the time.
This year the Iron Man 2 costume is at the top of my list in consideration. If I do, the helmet won’t stay on long, as you have to remain personable. The mask could also be a good exit if you don’t really like the situation you are in, if you know what I mean. We are still a few months away from Halloween though, so still figuring it out.
