Vampire Costumes? No Way!

With all of the different Halloween costumes to choose from, vampire costumes seem a little run of the mill. If you do want to dress as a vampire, checkout the Goth costumes that make the outfit a bit more interesting.

Okay, so what are some options to Dracula? There is really no limit to what you can be for Halloween these days. In fact, if you can think of it, it is probably a costume for Halloween.

Men, women and children go as all kinds of random food products, movie characters, super heroes, monsters, and even reality TV stars these days. You can either purchase one, or simply make up your own.

The advantage to making up your own is that it will likely be more exclusive. This way you will not have to worry about other people going as the same monster, princess, celebrity, ghoul, or odd character that you choose.

There are some websites you may want to check out early on. Especially if you are in a rural area that does not offer a great deal in regards to costumes for Halloween. Start looking now because it is going to be hard to decide on the best costume to wear.

Vampires – Not Creative Halloween Costumes?

What are you going to be for Halloween this year? That spooky evening is drawing near. Personally, I have never been into unique and creative Halloween costumes. I tend to go with the same costume every year – Dracula.

Perhaps that my seem a little boring, but there is just something about vampire makeup and a good set of fangs that I just have trouble saying no to. I especially get a kick out of my vampire costume because all of the neighborhood kids know I will be wearing my usual Halloween outfit and love to come see Dracula every year.

My wife and kids, on the other hand, find new ideas for unusual and different costumes every year. I never know what to expect. Not only do they come up with creative Halloween costumes, but the way they decorate our yard is pretty incredible too. We get all sorts of Halloween yard decorations to have some fun with. When it comes to scary and spooky, I guess you can say that on Halloween night, our house is the most frightening on the block.

Whether you are like me and prefer vampires and classic Halloween costumes or just need some good ideas to jump start your imagination, you can find tons of costumes, props and accessories online.

We used to search for the large Halloween stores that magically appear around September. After fighting to find parking, digging through piles of Halloween stuff, and standing in long lines to check out, our spirits seemed to dim. No more! Now all of our Halloween shopping is done online, which suits this nighttime vampire just fine.
